Ark X400/Trex 450
This helicopter started its existence as Ark x400 with mechanical mixing. But after a first crash it slowly began to transfer to TRex 450. Main reason was the fact that TRex parts were easier to get. After one year it was converted to CCPM version to eliminate linkages in mechanical mixing and to reduce weight. Later I was having difficulties getting replacement for main gear so I decided to switch to TRex main gear also. Unfortunately that gear doesn't fit to X400 frame so I had to switch the frame for a third time. This time to the HDX450 frame. This frame is great. It's cheap, it has a good servo layout and it's easy to work on.
Current setup: Mega 16/20/2, Jeti Spin 44, 15T pinion, 3s A123 2300mAh, 4x HS56HB, 315mm Torsion Blades. Alu Trex head and tail, HDX450 frame. Ready to fly weight is 877g.
